Great Black-headed Gull

The Great Black-headed Gull winter regularly in Sicily.
The photos show an adult moulting to summer plumage; they had been taken at Lentini near Catania in February 2001, by Andrea Corso & Marco Preziosi. In the second and third photos, you see also an adult winter Caspian Gull.
